What is trafficking, and who is trafficked

Trafficking involves someone living in slavery - they are forced into labor, sexual acts, and even to fight as soldiers.

Anyone can be trafficked.  However, the victims tend to be younger rather than older.  Some of them are kidnapped.  Some of them are led to believe that they will have jobs as nannies or waitresses in another country and leave voluntarily.  Many of the trafficking victims are poor.  These victims come from all over the world, and end up all over the world, including the United States.
